Conference
15th July 2026
Tickets for the 2026 event include access to all presentations, trade room for networking with suppliers, refreshments and a hot lunch and video recordings of all presentations emailed to delegates after the conference

This year’s National Youngstock Conference promises something for all calf rearers – whatever their management system or level of experience or expertise. Calf rearers looking for a ‘best practice’ refresher on the cornerstones of good management, such as colostrum, milk feeding or weaning, and those wanting an update on the latest research and technology, will not be disappointed. The range of topics set to be covered during the one-day event will appeal to everyone who works with calves, be they herd owners, managers, staff or dedicated calf rearers.
Presentations set for the 2026 conference are listed in the fresh-off-the-press programme which is shown at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, it can be downloaded here.
Top speakers from all corners of the UK will share their knowledge, expertise and experiences in their particular area of calf and youngstock rearing – from birth through to calving for the first time at two years old. And each session will end with a chance for delegates to ask questions.
For those looking for additional information or bespoke advice, there will also be several opportunities to catch up with speakers during the day’s three refreshment breaks.
All presentations will be recorded and made available, free of charge, for everyone who attends the conference. The event will also host a trade-stand area where delegates can network and talk to nutritionists, vets and other calf-rearing specialists, as well as find out more about the latest products, services and the technology and ideas on offer to improve calf- and youngstock-rearing management and outcome.
Tickets are limited. Please don’t delay book your tickets today.
